DTC B1481 (2nd Stage) Driver Airbag Resistance too High

DESCRIPTION

The Driver Airbag circuit consists of the SRSCM, Clock-spring and the Driver Airbag (DAB) which has two squib circuits. The SRSCM sets above DTC(s) if it detects that the resistance of DAB squib is too high or low.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

WARNING: NEVER attempt to measure the circuit resistance of the airbag module (squib) even if you are using the specified tester, otherwise the module may deploy accidentally.
