SERVICE TIP:
Some 2004 / 2005 Spectra LD four door and Spectra 5 vehicles may have a blown windshield wiper fuse located in the underhood fuse box. This condition may occur in cold weather with snow buildup at the base of the windshield. The windshield wiper fuse specification has been changed from 15 amp. to 20 amp. in production 1/11/05.
Install a 20 amp. windshield wiper fuse in the underhood fuse box, as shown if the windshield wiper fuse blows in 2004 / 2005 Spectra LD vehicles built before 1/11/05 and no signs of a short circuit are evident.
