Some 2004 / 2005 Spectra LD vehicles may have no or intermittent trunk light operation. The cause of this concern is a poor trunk light circuit ground. The trunk light circuit grounds through the two trunk latch screws. The trunk latch and screws rest on and go into painted metal that may not provide a good body ground. Clean the paint off of the metal around the trunk latch screws to correct this concern.
