Hood Latch: Service and Repair

HOOD LATCH REPLACEMENT




1. Loosen the latch (A) mounting bolt then disconnect the latch cable (B) and release cable (C).




2. Pull in the direction of the arrow after loosening the radiator mounting bolts then remove the hood latch.
3. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE
- Make sure the hood latch cable is connected properly.
- Make sure the hood locks securely.
