B1514 - Buckle Switch: Passenger Short or Short to Ground






General Description
The seat belt buckle switch (passenger side/RH) circuit consists of the SRSCM (Airbag control module) and front passenger seat inner belt assy. In event of accident, Pretensioner and passenger's side airbags will not operate when the buckle switch are unlocked, to save parts and reduce repair cost.

DTC Description
DTC B1514 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the seat belt buckle switch (RH) circuit (open or short to ground).
