B1511 - Buckle Switch: Driver Open or Short to Battery






General Description
The seat belt buckle switch (Driver side/LH) circuit consists of the SRSCM (Airbag control module) and front Driver seat inner belt assy. In event of accident, Pretensioner and passenger's side airbags will not operate when the buckle switch are unlocked, to save parts and reduce repair cost.

DTC Description
DTC B1511 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the seat belt buckle switch (LH) circuit (open or short to battery).
