B1404 - SIS Front-Passenger Circuit Short to Ground






Operation
The Side Impact sensor (SIS) assy circuit includes a diagnosis circuit and a lateral deceleration sensor. It receives signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, detects diagnosis system malfunctions, and judges whether or not the SRS must be activated.

DTC Description
DTCs, B1403, B1404 and B1405, are recorded when a malfunction in the Side Impact Sensor assembly (right side) is detected.
