Clearing Trouble Codes
HOW TO ERASE DIAGNOSIS CODES1. Automatic clearing
When ATF warms up and reaches to temperature 50°C, 40 times after the last generated fail or code stored in the memory, all stored codes will be erased.
2. Manual clearing
1. Use Hi-Scan to erase codes with the below condition:
^ Ignition key "ON"
^ Detect no engine revolution (engine off)
^ No detection from output speed sensor (vehicle stop)
^ No detection from vehicle speed sensor (vehicle stop)
^ Fail-safe not operating
2. 15 seconds after disconnecting the battery terminal (-)
3. 15 seconds after removing the back-up fuse
