Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

Fuel gauge unit

1. Lift the vehicle and disconnect the fuel sender connector.
2. Ground the harness side connector (terminal 1, 3) through the bulb 12V, 3.4W.
3. Turn the ignition switch on.




4. Check if the test bulb lights on and if the fuel gauge moves to "F" position slowly.
