Removal

REMOVAL





1. Move the shift lever to "P" position.





2. Remove the battery terminal (A) and heat shield (B).
(Bolt:1 EA, Retainer:3 EA)
3. Remove airflow sensor connector and breather hose.





1) Air cleaner upper cover (A) and air intake hose (B).





4. Remove the air cleaner lower cover (A)





5. Remove the control cable (A) to transaxle range switch mounting nut (B)





6. Remove the control cable holder (A).





7. Remove the center console. (Screw: 6EA)





8. Disconnect lever assembly electrical connector (A).





9. Remove the airbag connector (A).





10. Remove the control cable cotter pin (A).

CAUTION: When Installing the control cable, Insert the control cable to be seen In the wider flange face.





11. Remove control cable hold (lever side).





12. Remove the shift lock cable P-LOCK cam (A).





13. Remove the shift lock cable mounting nut (A). (Nut: 2EA)





14. Remove both sides of the crash panel (A). (Screw: 6EA)





15. Remove the control cable mounting nut (A) of the lower dash board side to remove the cable.





16. Remove the duct. (Screw: 1EA)
17. Remove the socket of shift lock cable pedal side and then remove the clip of dust cover side.





18. Remove the shift lock cable cotter pin (A).





19. Remove the shift lever mounting bracket bolt (A). (Bolt: 4 EA)
