B1410 - SIS Front-Passenger Communication Error






Operation
The Side Impact sensor (SIS) assy circuit includes a diagnosis circuit and a lateral deceleration sensor. It receives signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, detects diagnosis system malfunctions, and judges whether or not the SRS must be activated.

DTC Description
DTCs B1408 and B1410 are recorded when communication errors occurs between the Side Impact Sensor and SRSCM due to malfunctions in the system.
