B1400 - SIS Front-Driver Defect






Operation
The Side Impact sensor (SIS) assy circuit includes a diagnosis circuit and a lateral deceleration sensor. It receives signals from the lateral deceleration sensor, detects diagnosis system malfunctions, and judges whether or not the SRS must be activated.

DTC Description
DTCs, B1400, B1401 and B1402, are recorded when a malfunction in the Side Impact Sensor assembly (left side) is detected.
