B1112 - Ignition Voltage Too Low

General Description
The SRS is equipped with a voltage control circuit (DC-DC converter) in the SRSCM to maintain certain voltage and current for the system. When the battery voltage is lower than the specification, due to alternator voltage regulator malfunction, or other reasons, the warning lamp will remain lit and a DTC B1112 code will occur. However the DTC is not stored in memory by the SRS Control Module and when the voltage returns to normal, the SRS warning light will automatically turn off.

DTC Description
When the SRS warning light remains lit and the DTC displayed is a normal code, this signifies battery voltage has dropped too low. This malfunction is not stored in memory by the SRS Control Module so if the power source voltage returns to normal, the SRS warning light will automatically go off. If a code not listed on the chart is displayed, the SRS Control Module is faulty.
