Removal and Installation

Removal
1. Loosen pivot bolt from P/S pump.
2. Loosen locknut from P/S pump.
3. Loosen bracket nut from P/S pump bracket.
4. Remove drive belt.
5. Loosen nut and remove high pressure hose from P/S pump.
6. Disconnect fluid suction hose after pressing clip.
7. Loosen three bracket retaining bolts.
8. Remove power steering pump assembly.

Replacement
1. Install power steering pump assembly.
2. Tighten three bracket retaining bolts.
Tightening torque: 27 - 38 ft. lbs. (37 - 52 Nm, 3.8 - 5.3 kg-m)
3. Connect fluid suction hose onto P/S pump.
4. Install high pressure hose and tighten bolt.
Tightening torque: 33 - 40 ft. lbs. (44 - 54 Nm, 4.5 - 5.5 kg-m)
5. Install drive belt.
6. Tighten bracket nut.
Tightening torque: 27 - 38 ft. lbs. (37 - 52 Nm, 3.8 - 5.3 kg-m)
7. Tighten locknut and bolt.
Tightening torque: 27 - 38 ft. lbs. (37 - 52 Nm, 3.8 - 5.3 kg-m)
8. Tighten pivot bolt.
Tightening torque: 27 - 38 ft. lbs. (37 - 52 Nm, 3.8 - 5.3 kg-m)
