Body - Rear Hatch Won't Fully Release

Some Spectra 5dr models built before 11/13/01 may exhibit a condition where the rear hatch does not fully release when using the remote release lever inside the car. A new striker assembly (P/N 0K2B3 62 361A) has been made available to correct this condition.
The new striker assembly has an additional spring loaded plunger to help lift the rear hatch free of the striker when using the remote release lever.
