      Federal vehicles only. For California vehicles, inspect every 60,000 miles and replace at 105,000 miles. Inspect at mileage interval or every 60 months, whichever comes first. For California, this maintenance is recommended but not required. Inspect water pump when replacing the drive belt or timing belt.
