Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Description and Operation

SAFETY BELT WARNING
"BELTS" warning lamp illuminates and an audio warning is given when ignition switch is in "ON" position with either front door open and/or driver's safety belt not fastened. Warning lamp goes out when driver's safety belt is fastened.
