Removal and Installation

Removal/Installation
1. Contact surface between wheel and hub must be clean.





2. Tighten lug nuts to specified torque.
Tightening torque: 65 - 87 ft. lbs. (88 - 118 Nm, 9 - 12 kg-m)

Tire rotation





To prolong tire life and ensure uniform tire wear, rotate tires every 6,000 miles (10,000 km).

Caution: Keep the tires in the best condition at front. Do not move tires to opposite side of vehicle.

Wheel balance





If a wheel becomes unbalanced or if a tire is replaced or repaired, wheel must be rebalanced.
Maximum imbalance at rim edge: 2.12 ounces (60 grams)

Notice:
a) Do not use more than two balance weights on the inner or outer side of a wheel.
b) If the total weight exceeds 3.5 ounces (100 g), move tire around on rim and rebalance.





c) Attach balance weights securely to wheel.
d) Select balance weights that are suitable for steel or aluminum alloy wheels.
e) Do not use an on-car balancer on automatic transmission models. Transmission damage may occur.
