Horn Relay: Description and Operation
Circuit OperationBattery voltage is always applied to one side of the horn relay coil through the "HORN (10 A)" fuse. With the horn switch pressed, the other side of the horn relay coil is grounded through the wire "LG/R" and the horn switch.
When the relay is energized, the normally open contacts of the horn relay closes, allowing battery voltage is applied to the horn through the "HORN (10 A)" fuse, horn relay and wire "LG/Y". The horn sounds for pressing the horn switch.
