Tail Lamp: Description and Operation

Circuit Operation

License and Taillights
With the light switch in "PARK" or "HEAD" position, one side of "TNS" relay coil is grounded through the light switch, energizing the relay (the other side of the coil is powered through "TNS (15 A)" fuse).

When energized, the normally open contacts of the TNS relay close, allowing battery voltage to be applied to the taillights, license lights through the "TAIL LH (10 A)" or/and "TAIL RH (10 A)" fuse. The mentioned lights illuminate.
