Hazard Warning Lamps: Description and Operation
Circuit OperationHazard Lights
Battery voltage is always applied from "HAZARD (15 A)" fuse to the hazard switch. The flasher unit is grounded through the terminal B (B) permanently. When the hazard switch is pressed battery voltage is applied to the flasher unit through the hazard switch. The flasher unit alternately opens and closes to a solid state switch, which sends pulses of battery voltage to the turn lights and indicators through the hazard switch. The lights and both indicators flash "ON" and "OFF" until the hazard switch open.
