Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect wiper motor harness connector.




3. Remove four wiper motor mounting bolts.
4. Separate motor assembly from wiper link assembly sing a screwdriver.




5. Remove wiper motor from engine compartment.

INSTALLATION

1. Attach wiper motor ball joint to wiper link assembly.




2. Install and tighten four wiper motor mounting bolts.

Tighten mounting bolts to
12-15 lb-ft (16-20 N.m, 1.6-2.0 kg-m)

3. Connect wiper motor harness connector.
4. Connect negative battery cable.
