Removal
Front Lower Control Arm
1. Lift front of vehicle and support it with safety stands.
2. Remove wheel and tire.
3. Remove stabilizer control link nut from bracket on lower control arm.
4. Remove pivot bolt.
5. Remove lower arm ball joint bolt and nut from steering knuckle.
6. Remove three mounting bolts.
7. Remove retaining nut, washer and control arm bushing-rear.
8. Remove two ball joint mounting nuts and bolts from lower control arm.
9. Secure ball joint in a vise.
10. Carefully use a chisel to remove dust boot from ball joint.
NOTICE: Do not damage ball joint.
11. Remove the front control arm bushing.
12. Remove control arm.
