Turn Signals: Description and Operation

Circuit Operation
With the ignition switch in ON or START, battery voltage is applied through the TURN SIGNAL fuse to the turn signal switch. With the turn signal switch in the left turn or right turn position, battery voltage is applied through the flasher module to the turn signal switch. The flasher module will alternately open and close a solid state switch which will send pulses of battery voltage to the appropriate turn lights and the turn indicator. The turn lights and indicators flash.
