Dome Lamp: Description and Operation

Circuit Operation
Battery voltage is applied at all times through the ROOM fuse to the dome light, door ajar indicator. With "Key-in ignition" signal to the electronic time control module, the ignition key light is illuminated. When any door is opened, the corresponding doorjamb switch closes and illuminates the dome light and door ajar indicator. The dome light can also be operated independently with the dome light switch.
