Condenser Fan and A/C Compressor Clutch Do Not Operate

Step 1: Check Fuses




1. Check following main fuses.
2. If fuse is burned, check for a short-circuit in wiring harness before replacing fuse.
If fuses are OK, proceed to inspection.

Step 2: Measure Voltage At A/C Switch




1. Measure voltage at following terminal wires of A/C switch connector C264.

Step 3: Measure Voltage At A/C Dual Pressure Switch




1. Measure voltage at following terminal wires of A/C dual pressure switch connector C109.

Step 4: Measure Voltage At A/C Thermocon




1. Measure voltage at terminal wires of A/C thermocon connector C293.

Step 5: Measure Refrigerant Pressure

1. Connect A/C manifold gauge set.
2. Operate engine at 2,000 rpm and set air conditioner maximum cooling.




3. Measure high-pressure side refrigerant pressure.
