Installation

1. Install the hydraulic control unit bracket to vehicle and tighten the two bracket bolts.

Tightening torque: 14 - 18 ft. lbs. (19 - 25 Nm)

2. Lower Hydraulic Control Unit into position and tighten its three mounting screws to specification.

Tightening torque: 6 - 7 ft. lbs. (8 - 10 Nm)

3. Reconnect six brake lines. Be certain that the four lower outlet lines have been connected to the correct ports. Tighten the nuts to specification.

Tightening torque: 9 - 16 ft. lbs. (12 - 22 Nm)

4. To hydraulic control unit and connect Hydraulic Control Unit connector. Be certain connectors are fully mated.
5. Install the main fuse box bracket and tighten the three bracket bolts.
6. Bleed the brake system using ABS procedure described in Brake Bleeding.
