1. Apply general-purpose grease to new tire dust boot.





2. Press the dust boot onto the ball joint with a suitable tool.

3. Install the ball joint to the lower arm and tighten two ball joint mounting nuts and bolts.
Tightening torque: 69 - 86 ft. lbs. (93 - 117 Nm)

4. Install rear control arm bushing with two washers and tighten retaining nut.
Tightening torque: 69 - 86 ft. lbs. (93 - 117 Nm)

5. Tighten the three mounting bolts.
Tightening torque:
69 - 86 ft. lbs. (93 - 117 Nm)
(A): 40 - 50 ft. lbs. (54 - 68 Nm)

6. Put the ball joint into the knuckle and tighten the lower arm ball joint pinch bolt and nut.
Tightening torque: 32 - 40 ft. lbs. (43 - 54 Nm)

7. Tighten the pivot bolt after installing the front control arm bushing.
Tightening torque: 69 - 86 ft. lbs. (93 - 117 Nm)

8. Install the stabilizer control link nut to the bracket on the lower control arm and tighten the nut.
Tightening torque: 32 - 45 ft. lbs. (43 - 61 Nm)

NOTICE:
a) Tighten control arm bolts and nuts to specified torque before lowering the vehicle (unload condition).
b) Tighten control arm bolts and nuts to specified torque before lowering vehicle (unload condition).
