When the TCM in a 98-00 MY Sephia or 00 MY Spectra has been replaced with the latest software version (TSB, Transmission/Driveline 007), additional transaxle data will be available on the Hi-Scan Pro scan tool. You will, however, have to enter the vehicle into the scan tool as a 01 MY vehicle to get the complete data list. You will then receive the full data list available on the 01MY and later vehicles including trans temp, input speed, VSS signal etc. This data may be helpful in diagnosing transaxle related DTCs or driveability issues.
