Oil Pressure Sender: Testing and Inspection

Oil Pressure Switch




1. If engine oil pressure is satisfactory, disconnect oil pressure switch connector C120 and connect an ohmmeter between switch terminal and vehicle ground.
2. Start engine and let run until normal operating temperature is reached.
3. If ohmmeter shows any indication of continuity after engine is started, replace oil pressure switch.
