A/C - Compressor Stays Engaged

TITLE: A/C Compressor Runs Constantly

APPLIES TO: 98 Sephia's

SERVICE TIP:

It has been reported that some 98 Sephia's have had a problem with the A/C compressor running constantly without the A/C button on, or the compressor won't operate at any time. A common cause for this has been a shorted wire in the Shroud Harness, behind the right side of the radiator.

To resolve this issue, disconnect the connectors past the radiator on the Shroud Harness, repair any damaged wires, and reroute the harness to prevent it from being pinched between the radiator and the core support.
