SOURCE: Kia Technician Times

TITLE: Heater Pipe

CONDITION

The heater pipe has come out of the cylinder head on some vehicles resulting in a loss of engine coolant.

CAUSE

This condition is caused by insufficient interference fit of the pipe into the cylinder head due to insufficient hardness of the heater pipe.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
