Solenoid Valves Diagnosis

RESISTANCE






1. Disconnect the solenoid valve connector.
2. Measure resistance between each terminal and a ground.

Resistance: 13-17 ohms

NOTICE:
- Shift solenoid A: C256/1 and ground
- Shift solenoid B: C256/7 and ground
- Shift solenoid C: C256/2 and ground
- Torque converter clutch solenoid: C256/8 and ground

3. If not correct, check the wiring for an open or short circuit. Replace the solenoid valve.

CONTINUITY






1. Disconnect the 12-pin connector from the power train control module, refer to Powertrain Control Module.
2. Check continuity between terminals C256/1, C256/2, C256/7 and C256/8, and ground.
3. If not correct, check the wiring for an open circuit.
