Disassembly

NOTE: Disassemble in the order shown, Refering to the following:

SNAP RING





1. Install the SST to the 3-4 clutch as shown.
2. Compress the spring and retainer assembly.
3. Remove the snap ring.
4. Remove the SST, then remove the spring and retainer.

3-4 CLUTCH PISTON





1. Install the SST onto the 3-4 clutch drum and remove the 3-4 clutch piston using compressed air.

Air pressure: 57 psi (392 kPa) maximum

2. Remove the SST.
