Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Lift the rear of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
2. Remove the wheels.
3. Remove in the order shown in the figure.

INSPECTION
Visually inspect each part and replace as necessary.


INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal, refer to INSTALLATION NOTE.

INSTALLATION NOTE:





Stabilizer Retaining Nut
Tighten the stabilizer nuts until the specified length of thread is exposed.
Length specification: 0.44-0.6 inch (11-15 mm)

NOTE: After installation, check the rear wheel alignment, and adjust it if necessary.

NOTICE: Tighten the lateral link and trailing link pivot bolts to the specified torque before lowering the vehicle (unloaded condition).
