Brake Rotor/Disc: Testing and Inspection

NOTE:
- There must be no wheel bearing play.
- The measurement location is the outer edge of the rotor face.





1. Measure the thickness of the rotor at four or more points.
- Minimum: 18 mm (0.71 inches)
2. Using a suitable dial indicator, measure the runout at the outer edge of the pad contact surface of the rotor.





- Runout: 0.1 mm (0.004 inches) maximum
