Emergency Override Button

WARNING: Service with engine OFF.

1. Verify that the selector lever is locked in P range.
2. Remove the cap covering the emergency access hole and insert a screwdriver (Phillips(R) or flat blade) into the access hole, then turn and hold the screwdriver in the full clockwise position.





3. Depress the lock release button and move the shift lever.
4. If not as specified, inspect and repair as necessary, refer to the QUICK DIAGNOSIS CHART.
