Braking Sensor/Switch: Adjustments






1. Disconnect the brake pedal switch connector E.
2. Loosen locknut B and rotate switch A until it does not contact the pedal.
3. Loosen locknut D and turn rod C to adjust the height of the brake pedal. If necessary, further rotate switch A to prevent it from contacting the pedal.
4. Rotate the brake pedal switch A in until the plunger is completely compressed, then rotate it out about 1/2 turn. Tighten locknuts B and D.
5. Reconnect the brake pedal switch connector E.
6. Verify operation of the stoplights.
