Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
2. Remove the front passenger seat by removing its two front bolts and two rear nuts.
3. Release the latch on the ABS Control Unit's connector and disconnect the harness.
4. Remove the ABS Control Unit's four mounting screws and remove the unit.

INSTALLATION
1. Position ABS Control Unit and install its four mounting screws.
- Tighten screws to 9-12 ft. lbs. (12 -16 Nm).
2. Connect harness connector and close its latch.
3. Install front seat and install its two rear nuts and two front bolts.
- Tighten to 32-36 ft. lbs. (44-48 Nm).
4. Reconnect negative battery cable.
