Brake Fluid Pump Relay: Service and Repair

Rear Of Engine Compartment:

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable from battery.
2. Slide the pump motor relay off of its bracket. If resistance is encountered, insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver between back of bracket and the relay mounting slot.
3. Depress the retention latch on both connectors to disconnect connectors.

INSTALLATION
1. Reconnect both pump motor relay connectors, being certain that they are retained by their latches.
2. Slide the relay onto its bracket. Push down far enough to latch the relay to its bracket.
3. Reconnect the battery cable.
