ABS Main Relay: Service and Repair

ABS Main Relay

Located At LH Rear Corner Of Engine Compartment:

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Slide main relay (nearest ABS pump motor) off of its bracket. Removal can be eased by inserting a small flat-bladed screwdriver between back of bracket and relay mounting slot.
3. Pull relay out of its harness connector.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert the relay into its connector, being certain that it is fully seated.
2. Slide the relay's connector onto its bracket. Push down far enough to latch the connector to its bracket.
3. Reconnect the battery cable.
