Circuit Description

Battery power is supplied at all times to the ABS main relay from the ABS fuse. In addition, when the ignition is ON, power is supplied to the ABS relay from the ENG fuse.

When the ignition is turned ON, power is supplied to the anti-lock brake control unit through the ABS relay. The anti-lock control unit monitors the wheel speed sensors and the brake pedal switch. It also controls the solenoid valves in the ABS hydraulic unit, the ABS pump motor relay, and the ABS indicator.
