ABS System Description

The ABS works in conjunction with a conventional brake system to prevent wheel lockup during braking. The prevention of wheel lockup can assist the driver in maintaining control over the vehicle. The ABS employs the following additional major components to prevent wheel lockup:
- 4 Individual Wheel Speed Sensors
- ABS Control Unit
- Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)
- Rear Disc Brakes
