Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

NOTE: On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.

1. Disconnect battery ground cable and drain engine coolant.
2. Disconnect cooling fan motor electrical connector.
3. Remove radiator hose.
4. Remove radiator cowl, then remove fan blade.
5. Remove cooling fan motor.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Bleed cooling system.
7. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
