Wiper and Washer Systems: Testing and Inspection

Wiper Does Not Operate in LO or HI Position

Preliminary Check: Check condition of "WIPER" fuse. If fuse is open, locate and repair source of overload. Replace fuse.

Troubleshooting:

Wiper Does Not Return to "PARK" (Rest) Position when Wiper Switch is Turned "OFF"

Preliminary Check: Check condition of "WIPER" fuse. If fuse is open, locate and repair source of overload. Replace fuse.




Intermittent Function Does Not Operate

Preliminary Check: Check condition of "WIPER" fuse. If fuse is open, locate and repair source of overload. Replace fuse.




Wiper Continues To Operate At Low Speed While Switch Is "OFF"




Wiper Continues To Operate At High Speed While Switch Is "OFF"




Washer Does Not Operate (Wiper Works)
