Sephia Front Door Glass Run

This bulletin provides information related to a change to the Sephia Front Door Glass Run. 1997 Sephia models, beginning with production date 2/17/97, are equipped with redesigned door glass runs.





Some Sephia models have exhibited water leakage and excessive wind noise from the front doors while driving at highway speeds. To help reduce the occurrence of these conditions, the shape of the front door glass run cross-section has been changed to allow the glass to fit more securely inside the front door glass run.

The new front door glass runs replace previous Sephia door glass runs and should be used to correct Sephia front door water leakage and/or wind noise complaints in models produced prior to 2/17/97.

SEPHIA DOOR GLASS RUN:

Confirm that the vehicle has a production date prior to 2/17/97.

Confirm that the water leakage and/or excessive wind noise is caused by leakage past the Door Glass Run.

Review "Replacement Procedures" before attempting Door Glass Run replacement. Inspect all replacement parts for damage prior to installation.
