SERVICE TIP:
CONDITION
After installing a new automatic transaxle in a vehicle, some technicians have experienced difficulty in adjusting the line pressure cable and/or noticed the new transaxle malfunctioning. In some instances, the technician has installed another transaxle only to have the same problem occur.

2. Remove the shipping pin from the side of the transaxle case, above the oil pan.
3. Remove the shipping pin hole plug from the transaxle that was removed and install it in the new transaxle.
4. Adjust line pressure to specification.
