Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair
1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove rear wheels.Fig. 8 Lateral Link Replacement:
2. Remove lateral link and trailing link in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 8.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten stabilizer nuts so that 0.44-0.60 inch of thread is exposed at end of bolt.
b. Tighten lateral link and trailing link mounting bolts and nuts to specifications after lowering vehicle.
