Removal and Installation

Fig. 1 Exploded View Of Steering Column:

1. Remove steering column in sequence shown in Fig. 1, noting the following:
a. Remove steering wheel.
b. Do not remove steering wheel by striking shaft with a hammer. The steering column will collapse.
2. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten to specifications shown in Fig. 1.
