Reading Diagnostic Trouble Codes

RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES





1. Connect a Kia Data Pro Scan Tool to the OBD-II DLC (Data Link Connector). The OBD-II DLC is located under the left side of the instrument panel, near the center console.
2. Start the engine.
3. Referring to the Kia Data Pro Scan Tool's instruction manual, retrieve any DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes).
4. Refer to "Diagnostic Trouble Codes," and repair any applicable condition, as instructed.
5. When no further codes are presented, proceed to After Repair Procedure.
